Happy Birthday Brian!

Brian decided that to celebrate his 30th birthday he wanted Fuddruckers for lunch. So, we all met up and enjoyed some good food.

My mom and dad got Brian a very nice Urlacher jersey for his birthday. This was the ideal gift since everyone knows that Bri LOVES the Bears!!! Plus this season Bri will be going to the home Bears games with my family so he can wear it there!=)

Riley can hear clear!!!

Riley had to have tubes put in his ears again yesterday, Aug. 14th because he continued to have fluid in his ears and he failed his hearing test.

Riley and I stayed at Beanie and G's the night before so we could be closer to Christ Hospital. He woke me up at 4:50 a.m. I think he was a little anxious for his surgery! Gams picked us up and we were there bright and early.

As I expected, there were no problems or complications. Riley was the perfect patient. His doctor was also impressed how mature Riley was and how he has no issues leaving us to go have surgery. In my eyes he is becoming a little too comfortable with all of this.=)

Riley is very sensative to sound as all the fluid is currently gone from his ears and he can hear clearly again.

Riley is very lucky to have such great family and friends that are so supportive!!! Whether it be visiting him the night before his surgery, calling him to wish him good luck, coming with to the surgery, or checking in after to see how he is doing.

Brian and I feel blessed to have such love around us.

"Tapping Shoes"

Gams and I went shopping the other day and Gams could not resist buying Chloe all these princess "tapping shoes." Chloe calls them this because the one pair that she had before (which Gams also got her) makes a tapping sound when she walks on the kitchen and foyer floor. As you can see, they also come in a cool carrying case which Chloe takes everywhere with her.

Best of Friends...........

I have to say I am the luckiest mom. My boys are the best of friends. They get along better than I ever could have imagined. The way they play together and include each other in all they do is just priceless. They even sleep in the same bed, practically on top of each other every night just to be together!! I should add that Chloe is fortunate also to have big brothers as caring and loving as Riley and Cayden!!
